Burrata is a semi-soft, fresh cheese of Italian origin. The term ‘burrata’ means ‘buttered’ in Italian and describes a variety of cheese-filled with butter or butter and sugar instead of the usual mozzarella shreds and cream. Burrata is a highly prized artisanal cheese dating back to the beginning of the 20th century and is made from a pouch of fresh mozzarella typically filled with fresh mozzarella shreds (called stracciatella) and cream.

Baked Truffle Burrata

Ingredients:
250 grams Burrata Cheese
1 teaspoon Truffle oil
8 pcs cherry tomatoes cut into halves
Fresh basil leaves

5 Easy Steps for a mouthful artisanal recipe

  1. Set temp. of the oven at 350°F.
  2. Get a small baking glass pan and put the burrata cheese, cut into small pieces then mix the 2 teaspoon truffle oil. Mix well.
  3. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until cheese is a bit golden brown.
  4. Remove from the oven then add the tomatoes and basil leaves.
  5. Ready to eat.
